  4. Un collègue est revenu du Japon et je m'inquiète pour mon propre voyage à cet endroit en quelques semaines.
I broke my alternating-language-posts rule but the "Grand Continental" wordplay wouldn't have worked in Japanese.
  1. The Grand Continental is getting bigger and bigger. I love it.
  2. Claire is back in New York and we're having lunch on Thursday.
  3. Summer is here.
  4. One of my colleagues is back from Japan and I can't wait for my own trip back in a few weeks.

読書感想文は書かない・書けないけれど、記録として残しておきたいです。今、これらの作品を楽しんでいます。 （文芸翻訳は今の時点の私には無理だといっていいでしょう。引用は翻訳せず、元の形で使います。） I can't and won't write a summer reading essay on these but want to leave a record of the works that I'm reading now.
